"Climbing shrubs; branchlets woody, white tomentose. Leaves 6 x 5.5 cm, cordiform, apex obtuse shortly apiculate, base deeply cordate, white tomentose beneath, with pits at the base of lamina; petiole to 4.5 cm, tomentose. Flowers axillary, 1-3 flowered; peduncles 1.5 cm, tomentose; bracts 2 cm, lanceolate tomentose; calyx lobes 1.8 x 0.8 cm, oblong, obtuse, densely tomentose, subequal; corolla salver shaped, lobes twisted, 6 cm long, sparsely pubescent; filaments pubescent at base; ovary 4-celled, style 4 cm, stigmas 2. Berry globose, yellow."
